GRAFENWOHR, Germany - Maj. Gen. James C. Boozer, the deputy commanding general for U.S. Army Europe, visited 12th Combat Aviation Brigade troops deployed to the field at Grafenwohr Training Area Oct. 13. During his time there, he talked with Soldiers at the dining facility, recognized several Soldiers for exceptional efforts in their jobs and even got to see a
live-fire convoy exercise at one of the ranges.

Jokers don't kid around with safety
GRAFENWOHR,
Germany - Every H-60 model aircraft in the U.S. military was recently
grounded due to a mechanical issue found in the tail assembly,
specifically with the tail rotor intermediate gearbox. For the
pilots and crew with C Company “Jokers,” 3-158th Assault Helicopter
Battalion, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, and attached to Task Force
Quickstrike at Grafenwohr Training Area, this was no laughing

Soldiers reintegrate into garrison lifestyle
ILLESHEIM, Germany - Whether coming back from three weeks in
the field or nine months downrange, Soldiers have adjustments to
make when they return. The challenges are different if they are
single or married but there are challenges nonetheless. As part of
the efforts to reduce these challenges and give Soldiers and their
Families better tools to make those adjustments when they return and
reunite, 3-159th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion conducted

12th Combat Aviation Brigade prepares for full spectrum combat
aviation operations in support of the United States Army-Europe and
other designated combined joint task force headquarters. On order,
12th Combat Aviation Brigade deploys to designated contingency areas
and conducts aviation combat operations as part of a designated
force headquarters.
